Our Journey
Our journey began with a pre-seed funding round in 2020, which set the stage for our flagship product – agMD. This groundbreaking platform simplifies farming by acting as an operating system, helping farmers manage their operations and make informed decisions based on data.
Six-generation farmer Shawn Cutter founded the company in collaboration with his brother Josh and sister Kristin on the family farm in Ohio. There is no better way to learn than to do the work, learn through experience that's personal, to build and solve problems that can be replicated to farmers globally.
As we prepare for our seed funding round, we aim to secure the funding needed for 24 months of runway, driving the leaping forward in our quest to revolutionize the agricultural sector with pilot customers in Ohio, Louisiana, and Florida.
Cedar Valley Farms
is a pioneering, Ohio-based, vertically integrated agri-business and is part of the Cutter Family of Companies. It was established in 2020 with the vision of transforming the family farms, using a regenerative model to a state-of-the-art, next-generation agricultural operation.
Addressing rising input costs, climate change impacts, data fragmentation, and the lack of digitization, agMD equips farmers for the challenges of the 21st century.
Innovation
On the innovation front, we have a patent for an autonomous field monitoring and treatment system. Through collaborative research with institutions like Ohio State University and successful pilots with Cedar Valley Farms and others, we have fine-tuned our system to tackle the real-world challenges farmers face.

Designed as a comprehensive solution, agMD is an operating system for farmers. It offers a digital twin of each farm, enabling predictive modeling, operational optimization, and yield maximization.
